OPEN is a membership organisation and our primary members are lone parent-led support groups.

Group Kit and Smart Kit
OPEN has produced two excellent kits which are a valuable resource for groups and are highly recommended:
The GROUP KIT is an educational development tool for new and existing lone parent groups to use – everything you need to know about setting up and managing your group.
The SMART KIT brings together a wide range of information to make the jov of voluntary management committees and boards a little easier and to assist all groups in development and implementation of best practise in relation to organisational policies, procedures, systems and structures.

Lone parents
You can find out details about your nearest group at enquiries@oneparent.ie. If you don’t live near a group, consider setting one up , independently or within a community group like a Family Resource Centre. We can help!
If you are not interested in being involved in a group but you want to get involved, you can join OPEN on Facebook here: we-are-OPEN. You can also volunteer in your local area to get the word out about OPEN or you can participate in one of our campaigns or you can organise an event to support our work in your area.
